I recently went on my first glamping (glamorous camping) trip in Mendocino, CA (blog post coming soon), and I had a blast! Of course I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and do a quick photoshoot. We rented an airstream, similar to a trailer, which gave us a 1950’s or 1960’s backdrop.
I recently purchased a pink tulle skirt and immediately imagined myself wearing it alongside an airstream. I’ve always liked the pink, black, and white pairing so I chose to work with that color combo. Plus I thought it blended well with the airstream background. I wore black and gold accessories to balance out the lighter colors and opted for a small neck scarf since it went well with the 50’s/60’s theme.
This look is so versatile and can be worn virtually most of the year including winter with some cute tights! It was great for Mendocino since it’s right on the coast and has a good breeze going throughout the day.
Check back soon to read about my Weekend Getaway Guide to Mendocino and my first experience glamping! It was such an adorable town with a population just shy of 900 people, rich in history, arts, and the beautiful Mendocino coast.
