London Inspo

Hey There Lovely People! I just recently got back from a trip to London and let me tell you it was sooo refreshing! For multiple reasons; for one, I REALLY needed a vacay! I started a new job back in October and have been grinding harder than ever to be the best I can be which means little to no vacays! Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE history (if you guys haven’t noticed already) and London is a city filled with TONS of history. So much history that you can decide which time period in history! Yea, London was settled by the Romans back in 43 AD! That’s nearly 2 millennia’s worth of history! MIND BLOWN!

I’m working hard on getting a London Travel Guide posted for you guys but that’s definitely going to take another week or so. In the meantime, I wanted to share with you all some of my fashion inspiration and fashion choices for London! It’s one of the biggest fashion hubs out there so it’s really ONLY fitting! Being part of the fashion scene and exploring Regent Street and Oxford Street were practically hashtag GOALS!

Plaid….

When I think London, I think a few things but one of those things are definitely PLAID! Is that just me? Well, I definitely brought along my plaid and feel like I fit right in when I was taking my “you look tourist AF” photos.

SHOP MY LOOK

HM, $35, Red Plaid Dressy Slim-Fit Pants

HM, $30, Plaid Stovepipe Pants

HM, $35, Plaid Dress Pants

There is matching blazer, I’ve linked in a previous blog post Boss Babe Essentials

Red…

Another fashion statement that screams London to me, is RED! Maybe it’s because of all the red telephone booths scattered? Or maybe it’s the red, white, and blue flags all over? Or it could be the famous guards at Buckingham Palace? Whatever the reason, red is something that I’m sure many others associate with London, or England all together? I found so many hints of red all throughout London and definitely made sure to incorporate some vibrant red into my London Fashion!

I opted for bright red accessories rather than using red as a primary outfit color choice. I thought that it provided a good balance for all of the red tones throughout. I think some fun red earrings would have been the perfect topper to this whole look!

Military Coat

For my final London look, I wanted to make sure I brought out my fun military coats! I actually own quite a few and love to pair them with my spring outfits! When I booked my trip to London, I told myself, “Kayla, when in London, one MUST strut around in their military coats!”

Also, it’s the perfect add-on because it gets COLD in London! Let me tell you, once those winds pick up it’s a wrap…bring something to stay bundled up and warm!
