Hi There! Woooh….it has been a MINUTE! It’s been pretty hectic here on both The Trendy Block and Wander The Bay Blogs. I’ve been trying to stay active via Instagram while I work on some upcoming projects including some blog posts…stay tuned! As always, thank you for joining me on these journeys.

October is such a fun time in the Bay Area! Street fairs, fall festivities, and great weather is just part of the reasons to stay local. A fun activity for friends, family, and all ages are Pumpkin Patches! I recently just read an article about how Instagram has increased the number of visitors to pumpkin patches because I mean a fall feed is essential…amirite! Well here in the Bay you can wander your way to a TON of different pumpkin patches and wanted to share a few below! Let me know if you go to one and your thoughts!

Bay Area Pumpkin Patch

Peninsula

Probably the most well-known Pumpkin Patches in the Bay are located in Half Moon Bay. If you take a drive along Highway 92 on the Half Moon Bay Side you will find miles and miles of pumpkin farms and festivals….matter of fact they have an annual Half Moon Bay Art and Pumpkin Festival….other patches include;

  • Grandpa Kevin’s Pumpkin Patch – 266-550 Serramonte Blvd, Daly City
  • St. Raymond’s Pumpkin Patch and Festival – 1211 Arbor Road, Menlo Park
    • October 11: Pumpkin Patch 12:30 – 2:55 PM , Festival 3:30-9:00
    • October 12: Festival 12:30-6:00
  • Webb Ranch Farmers Market Pumpkin Patch – 2720 Alpine Rd., Portola Valley
    • Sept. 27 – Oct. 31, 9am – dusk, daily
  • Lemos Farm – 12320 San Mateo Rd. (Hwy 92), Half Moon Bay
    • October: Open 7 days a week, 9 am–5 pm
  • Arata Pumpkin Farm
    • 185 Verde Rd., Half Moon Bay
  • Farmer John’s Pumpkin Patch – 850 North Cabrillo Highway, Half Moon Bay
    • Sept. 15–Oct. 31, Mon.–Fri. 9:00 am -5:00 pm, Sat. & Sun. 9:00 am -5:00 pm
  • Annual Shoreline Pumpkin Splash -Shoreline Lake, 3160 N. Shoreline Blvd. Mountain View, CA 94043
    • October 13–31,  11am-5pm (weekends) & 10am-5pm (weekdays)

The South Bay

  • Spina Farms – Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue, San Jose
    • Sep 27–Oct. 31, Sun.-Thur., 9am-6pm. Fri.-Sat., 9am-7pm
  • Uesugi Farms Pumpkin Patch (where featured photos were taken) 14485 Monterey Rd., San Martin
    • September 28– October 31, opens at 9 am every day; closing times vary

The East Bay

    • Open Oct 1 -31 Mon-Fri noon-7pm Sat & Sun 9am-7pm
  • Clayton Valley Family Farm – 1060 Pine Ln. Clayton, CA 94517
    • Open daily Sep 28 – Oct 31 (playland closes at dusk, train has reduced hours)
  • Joan’s Farm and Pumpkin Patch 4351 Mines Rd., Livermore, CA 94550
