Exploring Mexico, Sayulita!

Sayulita, Mexico

Our stay in Sayulita at Casa Love was a dream come true….the front door is within 4-5 steps from the beach, depending how big your steps are. The vibes inside are magical and feel like you’ve stepped into beach house heaven. You walk up the steps to the shared kitchen and dining area painted in bright reds and aquas. The photo in the lower left is the shared space and the shared tables are checkers and chess boards…the place has a total of 8 rooms all with their own unique features. Our room had its own large patio (upper left photo) which overlooked the ocean in front, a view I will never forget.

***Tip – if you stay at Casa Love, the front door is extremely hard to find. There are a few small vendors that sell directly in front of the door, so look for the door blue door with the red heart. The vendor in front sold beautiful wind chimes when we were there but I’m not sure if its always the same so look for the blue door!

Beach, Surf, Eat, Repeat…there’s miles ands miles of white sand beaches in Sayulita and depending on what your activity is I would recommend the main beach or one a bit further down. You can walk in any which way from the main beach and find one thats more secluded but won’t have as much access to restaurants and activities.

The Mercado or downtown market is made up a several blocks of restaurants, boutiques, and bars. You’ll find it packed around sunset once all the beachgoers make their way off the beach for the day. They have a cute Mercado in the center a few days a week depending on the season, I believe. If you’re looking for a traditional Mexican Mercado then take a day trip or weekend stay in Puerto Vallarta where you can find a huge market!

There is so much color in Sayulita, I fell in love with this cute beach town. I would recommend adding it to your list if you’re already in Puerto Vallarta or vice versa, as both places have so much to offer. Going to both offer the best of multiple experiences. Beach, surf, and relaxation in Sayulita and bigger city vibes with markets in Puerto Vallarta
