Trendy Homes – Bathroom Remodel

Trendy Bathroom Remodel, Farmhouse remodel

Hey Guys! Happy September! I am excited to start sharing my home improvement journey with you all!! Something I’ve been working on for about 6 months now and it has helped me so much during Covid-19 to keep myself sane and so excited to share with you all! I will link all of the products in this post for those that are interested!

…..how the bathroom started. So when we bought the house back in December I was mortified by this bathrooom. The picture honestly does NOT do it enough justice to depict just how outdated and small it was! Another detail you can’t see is that opposite of the toilet was the sink. I was not a fan and this was my least favorite part of the house, so happy we gutted all the way!

…..then came demo day! Oh how delighted I was that we not only gutted the entire bathroom but also the cabinets that were located directly outside of the bathroom doors. That gave us an additional 18 inches for the bathroom! Trust me I needed it! The only detail in the bathroom that we did keep was the window….the window I could live with.

Some of the inspirational photos that I saw on Pinterest, my absolute fave! Things I knew I wanted for sure; a stand alone bathtub, open floor plan in the shower area (similar to the image on the left), and I wanted to make it primarily white on the floors and the wall because it brightens spaces as well as make them appear bigger.

….although the below photos are the temporary photos of the bathroom it looks soooo much bigger already! I couldn’t believe how much of a difference it made in just this mid-phase. We used some temporary fixtures like the gray vanity and wood organizer. I was honestly so happy with the results that I could not wait for the finale!!

Soooo excited to share the finale with you all! I am so happy with the final results… I have a mix of farmhouse and modern with wood accents and both gold and black hardware! I also accessorized the bathroom with gray towels and rugs and sprinkled some galvanized vanity top accessories to add more of those farmhouse details!
